poration of the State Logistics Agency (Bulog), Djarot Kusumayakti, when he launched Bulog Market Operation simultaneously along with President, Joko "Jokowi" Widodo, at Regional Division of Perum Bulog, Sunter Timur Warehousing Area, North Jakarta, Friday (10/2).Perum Bulog prepares 480 tons of rice for Jakarta and 3 trucks containing 6 tons of beef and 8 tons of sugar. "As for Medan, perum bulog prepares 10 tons of rice. Bandung 144 tons, Semarang 130 tons and Surabaya 170 tons," he explained.

"The supervision will be conducted by urban village and sub-district heads of each area. As for rice for the poor ( raskin) distribution 13 and 14 will be dropped to urban villages," he uttered.
In this operation, the rice will be sold by Rp 9,600 per kilogram from market price Rp 10,000 per liter.
